Go ahead, you take the role

Those Aussies always get the best of us, don't they? If you're like us, you walk around in a constant state of wishing you had an Australian - or perhaps English - accent. It just seems so dignified. And, we must admit, we find it terribly randy to attempt one after a few years. We think it's hilarious, while our friends think we're douchebag numero uno. They're probably right.

Anyway, an Aussie news site has a great article up today detailing the movie and TV roles that starts spurned for one reason or another. The Steve Carell part in Little Miss Sunshine? Bill Murray said no. The David Carradine title role in Kill Bill? Warren Beatty and Kevin Costner passed. The Ryan Atwood role on The O.C.? Chad Michael Murray chose One Tree Hill instead (for job security, we suppose).

Now, if you'll excuse us, there's a safety fair in the lobby offering free massages and this sciatica is killing us.
