Happy Yovani Gallardo Day!

Yep, that headache's still got us down. But fear not, because it's Yovani Gallardo Day, as in the first MLB start from the Brewers' Triple-A flamethrower. We actually went out on a dangerously long limb this morning when setting our fantasy lineups; we put Gallardo in our starting rotation, choosing him over Aaron Harang, Chris Young, and James Shields. Those two starts, and his strikeout potential, was just too much to ignore.

Are we going to get pasted in our league as a result of it? Most likely. But that's why fantasy sports is like gambling (technically, it is gambling if it's a money league), because the rush of overcoming certain defeat is part of what keeps you playing. So, we'll be watching each pitch closely on MLB.com, hoping - and praying - that the Giants flail away at pitch after pitch.
