Tony Parker + Tim Duncan = B-O-R-I-NG
Not that there's anything wrong with them. We totally heart T-Dunc and T-Park's respective games, but...we would be lying if we said they haven't effectively ended these NBA Finals before they could become remotely interesting. Parker can get to the rim anytime he wants, Duncan is an inside force the Cavs have no hope of containing, and then there's Ginobli. That flopper, it could be argued, is outplaying even the great King James thus far. We switched over to the game last night after The Sopranos (more on that later) and the first 20 minutes of John From Cincinnati (less on that later), only to realize the game was already over.
The Spurs were up 25 - at halftime. They're now up two games to none. We know what you're thinking: The Cavs were down two-zip to the Pistons just a couple weeks ago, now look at where they are? The Spurs aren't the Pistons. They've completely owned the Cavs in each game and Poppovich isn't taking his foot off the gas until David Stern hands him the trophy. This is an unqualified disaster for the NBA.
