Horseshit, HBO has a Barbaro documentary

Finally, something that splices sports and entertainment together perfectly! How we missed this is beyond us, but Deadspin just pointed out that HBO has a Barbaro documentary premiering tonight.

HBO Sports does some fine work, including Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel and Costas Now (the latter's initial interview with Vince McMahon is worth the $12 monthly fee alone). Yet, doesn't HBO think it'd be more prudent for the network to focus its sports energies into more reality show stunts like De La Hoya/Mayweather 24/7? That five-part series resulted in the most watched non-heavyweight fight ever. Something tells me this Barbaro doc isn't going to do the same for the Belmont Stakes.

Watch, hoof, watch! [Deadspin]
